and creation - How it works....

You explain to us what you want, either verbally or via email.
Be as detailed as you would like, or as open to our interpretation
of your vision as you would like.

You send to us all the copy (text) you want on the site (we
don't write your content for you) as well as any graphics
you'd like to have on the site. If you don't have any graphics,
that's
OK. We'll
create them for you. Also, you don't have to send us all
the copy up front. We can build the site with out it and fill in
the
copy later.

We
build the web site and host it on our server. We will give you
an address where you can look at it and tell us what you
like and what you don't like. We'll change it until there is nothing
left you don't like. Then, we're done! See..that was easy.
....& what
it costs.....Flat rate per page is $85.00

We charge a flat rate of $85.00 per finished page. For example, the
web site you are looking at right now has four pages (Home, Services
& Fees, Portfolio, and Contact), so it would cost $340.00 ($85.00
x 4 = $340.00).
Eventually,
you will want to make changes to your site & we'd like to do that
for you, too.

alteration / maintenance – 2 payment options

Pay
as you go - $50.00 for each requested change. Make as many changes as you like for $50.00 flat fee. ALL changes
must be submitted to us simultaneously, or it counts
as a new change and another $50.00 will be charged

Pay
monthly - $250.00 per month flat fee. Make as
many changes as you like, whenever you like, within 1 calendar month
*With
both these plans, changes may take from one day, to 2 weeks (or longer)
to complete,
depending on their quantity and complexity.
Modern Ink stands by it’s stated completion dates on a case by
case basis.

the site: the last little detail
- Just building the site won't get it out there on the web. You need
to have a server that's connected to the web to host it on..and you
also need a domain name to host it under. If you want to have the site
appear under your own unique domain name (yourownname.com), then you
have to register that domain name...provided no one has taken it.
- Luckily,
none of this is terribly expensive. We reccomend that our clients
obtain their domain registration and hosting pe hosting company. We use
1 &1
to host our site (http://www.1and1.com). Very affordable.
If this hosting domain stuff all sounds confusing, that's because
it sort of is. Don't worry, we'll walk you through it if you need help.
